Drain Shell
The four 8-pin RJ-45 Digital Link Port connectors (labeled "B1",
"B2", "B3", and "B4" on the front of the Control) provide
communications between Control and Digital MMC Smart Drives.
Also provided on the RJ-45 connector is a green "Link" light
(which will be on if there is a Drive connected to the branch) and a
green "Activity" light (which will be on whenever a data packet is
transmitted to the drive(s) on the branch).
Each of the four branches (two branches on the Digital MMC-D32)
can control up to 16 drives. A "straight-through" shielded cable
must be used when connecting the Control to the Digital Drive.
Connect the cable from the Control to the Drives "IN" connector.
