ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

IMPORTANT NOTES:

* Assemble your tent before camping to become
familiar with the assembly.
* Two people are recommended for set-up.
* Select a clean, level area for the campsites, free
of debris and sharp objects, away from a
natural watercourse.
* Use of a ground cloth is recommended to
prolong the life of the tent floor and provide
additional insulation and moisture protection.
* To prevent damage to the zippers, unzip the
doors and windows of the tent prior to
disassembly, allowing air to move freely.
* Seam seal the inside stitched seams of the tent.
This will improve weather resistance. Available
in sporting goods departments. Discolouration
may occur if applied to outside seams.
Step 3: Spread tent, insert poles, stake at one end
1) Spread the tent out flat, floor side down.
2) Use the illustration below as a guide. Insert the main pole (A) through the middle pole sleeve.
3) Insert the side poles (B) through the sleeves at the sides of the tent.
4) Insert stakes into the two stake loops at the right end of the tent (opposite end of easy set-up
handle). Hammer the stakes into the ground at a 45

Rainfly : 1 each
0 angle using a hammer or mallet.
Fibreglass Poles : 4 each (total)
(A) Main 1 each (B) Side 2 each
(C) Fly 1each
Tent Stakes : 18 each
Step 4: Attach poles and pole hooks
1) Begin at staked end of the tent. Have one person place and hold an end of the side pole (B)
onto one of the adjacent pins at the floor of the tent. On the opposite side of the tent a
second person takes hold of the other end of the same pole. The pole is then flexed into an
arch and carefully placed onto the corresponding pin. Lay the pole down with the pole
middle toward the staked end as shown below.
2) Repeat the procedure for the remaining fibreglass poles (A) and (B).
3) Clip the black pole hooks to the tent frame.
Step 2: Assemble poles
1) Assemble the tent poles by placing
fibreglass sections into the metal ferrules.
Four poles are provided:
1 each (A) Main pole
2 each (B) Side poles
1 each (C) Fly pole
