Change over the main bracket (1) with support wheels from the transport/shipping position (2) to the working position (2).

Connect the hydraulic hoses to the hydraulic rams and motors according to the advice in the instructions. When you fit the hydraulic hoses to the tractor hydraulic sockets, always ensure that the hydraulic system at the tractor as well as at the implement side is without pres- sure.

From the factory the distance from PTO to Power Input Connection (PIC) is standard on most tractor brands.

Fasten the PTO shaft half parts to the PTO (on the tractor) and the PIC (on the implement). The PTO shaft half parts must be at the same horizontal level, opposite each other at the shortest distance from the tractor.

    4 - OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS Working in the field To prepare the implement for work in the field: 1. Place the implement on a level ground. 2. Connect the implement to the three-point linkage of the tractor. 3. Connect the hydraulic system to the quick action cou- pling of the tractor.
  • Page 50 4 - OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS Turning To prevent leaf damage losses when you turn the crop already spread, select a low PTO speed while at the same time you increase the forward speed. To make sure that the ratio between travel and PTO speed is correct, check the scatter pattern achieved.

For the road transport, especially for narrow roads, the implement is equipped with a hydraulic system that moves the outer rotors to the vertical position.

    10 - ACCESSORIES Tine safety lock You can fit the tine safety lock (1) to prevent the tine loss if a tine should break during work. This option is recommended in rough terrain where the tines risk to hit soil when runs across the field. Also, if you use the implement in extreme heavy silage crops, you can fit the tine safety lock.
