Adjusting the
exposure

– EV adjustment

You can manually shift the exposure value
determined by the camera. Use this mode
when you do not get the proper exposure,
for instance, the subject and its background
have high contrast (light and dark). The
value can be set a range from +2.0EV to
–2.0EV, in 1/3EV increments.

To cancel the EV adjustment
In Step 4, return the exposure adjustment
value to 0EV.
• When the subject is extremely bright or
extremely dark, or when you are using the
flash, the adjustment may not work.
