- Operate control 28 for demount tool (A-B-C) tilting.
- It is important to rotate the turntable slightly to facilitate the engagement of the bead.
- For easier bead coupling, it might be very helpful to move the bead breaker disc upwards on the
lower part of the tyre.
- To perform this, use control 23.
9 • Upper bead demounting (fig. 22)
- Check that the tool is correctly coupled with the tyre bead.

- Operate the control valve 28 to get the machine ready for the subsequent demounting operation
(performed with the wheel at a standstill and not rotating).
- Make sure that the tyre has not beaded in on the operator's side. If necessary, use a bead clamp
and/or the bead pressing device.
- Now operate pedal 15 until the bead is completely demounted.
- Here again, it might be helpful to move the bead breaker disc upwards on the lower part of the tyre.
- Upon demounting, if the tyre tends to slip on the rim edge, the HELP bead pressing device supplied
can be used (see "PRACTICAL HINTS, ADVICE AND USEFUL INFORMATION").
9a • Working area disengagement
- Operate on the control valve 32 to release the upper bead breaker arm.
- Withdraw the upper bead breaker arm for free working area access during the lower bead demount
