Types of Recording
The following types of recordings are possible, depending on the audio source. For details on each operation, see
the reference pages.
When recording from DECK A
Make-Disc Synchro-
Recording*

Record all tracks on the
selected disc in the
original order.
Synchro-Recording
(Make Disc Off)
Record from one disc (or
several discs for RCD-
W500C) in the order you
want. You can also record
in programmed order.

Set "Make Disc" in the Setup Menu to "On" beforehand (page 35).

Even if you select High-Speed Synchro-Recording, the recording speed automatically changes to normal speed
in the following cases.
– When the disc contains Serial Copy Management System information.
– When the play mode of DECK A is "PGM".
– When the disc in DECK A contains MP3 files.
