If selected, some unique random raw
data will be written as the feature
value when the Sentinel Key is
programmed. You can specify its
length in the Raw Data Length
field. The random value is generated
by the Sentinel Key itself and is not
known to you/your application.
However, you can call the
SFNTReadRawData API function to
read the value. Please note that this
value can be overwritten in the field
using the Update value command or
by calling the SFNTWriteRawData API
function (requires the write password
you specified).
Select this check box if you do not
want to allow writing the feature
value by the protected application.
Select this check box if you want to
allow writing the feature only once,
without providing a write password
(specify NULL in the WritePassword
parameter of the SFNTWriteRawData
API function). This attribute is suitable
for accepting raw data that a user
provides only once for validation (such
as the registration number) without
exposing the write password.
Please note that this value can be
overwritten in the field using the
Update value command.
