For such purpose simply push the switch on the remote. To check the remote mode just shake the remote and see if the switch at the top left of the remote lights is on.

At last, plug the power cord into the Maestro CD 192/24 inlet and into the wall outlet. WARNING! Maestro CD 192/24 HAS NO power switch. It means that it turns on any time it is plugged to a wall outlet. Power plugging has ALWAYS to be done at last.

Do not search the correct phase unless the unit is unplugged. To make plugging easy, Audio Analogue marked the Maestro CD 192/24 power cord pin that has to be plugged into the inlet phase hole. It is then sufficient to verify which outlet hole is the phase hole and plug the power cord in inserting the phase pin into the phase hole.

Standby mode You can put Maestro CD 192/24 in standby mode pressing either the “STBY” button on the remote controller or the “STANDBY” button on the front panel. When the CD player is in standby mode, only the microcontroller section is powered while the rest of the circuit is off, reducing power consumption and minimizing damage risks.

How to use the serial port Maestro CD 192/24 is equipped with a standard RS-232 serial port. You may remotely control the CD player connecting it to a PC or a home-automation unit through this port. This feature allows you to integrate Maestro CD 192/24 into a multi-room or house- automation system and enjoy its sound everywhere in your house.
