WARNING:
THERMOMETER, PLEASE READ CAREFULLY.
• T his is NOT an ear thermometer. NEVER put probe into an ear.
• T his is a rectal thermometer ONLY. It should NEVER be used for
oral, underarm, ear or any other temperature measurement.
• N EVER allow children to play with this product. It is not a toy.
This is a sensitive electronic device and may be damaged if not
used properly under parental supervision.
• A LWAYS supervise your child when using thermometer. NEVER
allow your child to use it alone or without close parental supervision.
• A void sudden impact and dust.
• D O NOT expose the thermometer to extreme temperatures,
humidity, direct sunlight or shock.

Have ready the model number (TH013 or TH035) and
date code (manufacture date located on package and
in battery compartment).

To Change Between Fahrenheit and Celsius

Ensure that thermometer is off. Then press and hold
the ON/OFF button for at least 2 seconds. When you stop
pressing the ON/OFF button after 2 seconds, the current
measurement scale (°F or °C icon) will display.
Change the measurement scale between °F and °C by pressing
the ON/OFF button again. When the measurement scale has
been chosen, wait for 3 seconds, and the unit will enter the
"Ready for Measuring" mode automatically.

To Replace Button Cell Battery (LR41)

When the " " appears in the lower right of the display, the
battery is exhausted and needs replacing. Make sure a battery
of the same type is on hand and proceed as follows after
locating the battery compartment cover on the back side of
the thermometer.

Carefully unscrew battery compartment cover using a
Phillips head screwdriver. Slide cover downward to
remove it.

Use a toothpick to remove battery. Insert new equivalent
battery type (LR41). Ensure battery is correctly positioned
with the "-" facing upward as shown in the illustration.
Carefully replace the battery compartment cover and
secure the screw. Properly dispose of the batteries,
keeping them from small children and heat.
WARNING:
• K eep battery out of child's reach. Swallowing battery could be fatal.
• B attery should not be charged or placed into extreme heat as it may rupture.
• U sed batteries should be disposed of properly.

Cambio de grados Fahrenheit a grados Celsius
Asegúrese de que el termómetro esté apagar. Luego
mantenga presionado el botón de encendido/apagado durante al menos
2 segundos. Cuando deje de presionar el botón de encendido/apagado al
cabo de 2 segundos, la escala de medición actual (icono °F o °C) aparecerá
en la pantalla. Cambie la escala de medición entre °F y °C presionando el
botón de encendido/apagado nuevamente. Una vez elegida la escala de
medición, espere 3 segundos y la unidad entrará en el modo "Listo para
medir" automáticamente.
Para reemplazar la batería de celda (LR41)

tener a mano una batería del mismo tipo y, después de localizar la tapa
del compartimiento de baterías en la parte posterior del termómetro,
proceda de la manera siguiente.

Desatornille con cuidado la cubierta del compartimiento de la batería con
ayuda de un destornillador Phillips. Coloque la tapa hacia abajo y retire.

Utilice un palillo de dientes para extraer la batería. Inserte una
nueva batería del mismo tipo (LR41). Compruebe que la batería
está correctamente colocada, con el signo "-" hacia arriba, como se
muestra en la figura. Vuelva a colocar con cuidado la cubierta del
compartimiento de la batería y ajuste el tornillo. Deseche las baterías

en la forma adecuada; manténgalas fuera del alcance de niños

pequeños y alejadas de fuentes de calor.
ADVERTENCIA:
• M antenga la batería fuera del alcance de los niños. Tragarse una batería puede resultar fatal.
• L a batería no deberá cargarse ni colocarse a extremo calor ya que se puede romper.
