To ensure that children cannot switch on the oven
accidentally or change a setting, the oven has a
childproof lock.
Press and hold the @ switch until the @ symbol
appears. This takes about 4 seconds.
The settings can no longer be changed. The control
panel is locked. The @ symbol goes out after a few
seconds.
You can change the basic settings so that the oven
door also locks. To find out how to do this, refer to the
Basic settings section.
If the child lock is activated the oven door will lock
when the temperature inside the oven reaches 50 ºC
and when the oven is switched off.
Press and hold the @ switch until the @ symbol
goes out. You can now make new settings.
Even if the childproof lock is active, you can still switch
off the oven with #, set the timer and turn off the
acoustic signal.
Following a power cut, the childproof lock is no longer
active.
