    INSTALLATION GENERAL INFORMATION This appliance is sealed from the surrounding envi- ronment in which it is installed and consequently combustion air is only aspired from outside! - When installing, NEVER use accessories or com- ponent parts not approved by the Manufacturer, as these could be very dangerous.

    MAX PIPE LENGTH Before proceeding with the installation, we advise inspection by qualified personnel. Positioning of the exhaust pipes and equipment for balanced flow are regulated by current legislation in the country where the device is installed. All products are certified to balanced flow "CE" and endorsed at the European level.

    POSITIONING THE APPLIANCE The illustration shows the exhaust position so that, according to the positioning of the exhaust end- piece, the necessary pipes can be calculated (see “Wall exhaust”, “Roof exhaust” and “Safety distan- ces” restrictions.) The height of the Appliance (h MIN 2cm) off the ground is not fixed, but can be selected positions in according to aesthetic preference or to avoid any installation problems.

    INSTALLATION Before going ahead with installation, make sure the data in the Appliance plate corre- spond to the gas supply type and pressure. Only skilled personnel should make the gas con- nections in compliance with applicable regula- tions. Make sure the gas supply pipe is of suitable capacity and that it features an easy-to-access on/off tap close to the fireplace.

    Final switch-off The Appliance can be switched off from any heating position: press the “OFF” key on the remote control for a few seconds. To ensure long battery life, move the switch “O – I” (5) on the gas valve to “O” position. The system features an automatic safety lock that prevents further ignition until it is disengaged (this operation could take a few minutes).

    POWER SUPPLY The receiving unit, for its operation, requires batteries that run out by frequency of use of the appliance.
