CHAPTER 1 System Overview

Control Unit

The control unit is designed to fit inside a silicone protective covering
(Protective Boot) to minimize damage from dropping and electro-static
discharge. It also includes an attachment strap for mounting the control
unit to a bed or chair.

Control Unit Indicators

VOLUME INDICATOR LIGHTS
As you adjust the volume, the green indicator lights illuminate,
indicating the volume level.
STATUS INDICATOR LIGHT
Green (Monitor on)—The green light flashes every 2 seconds to
indicate the control unit is monitoring. It also flashes on and off to
indicate an alarm. Alarms include Fall and Assist.
Orange (Hold)—The orange light flashes on and off to indicate the
control unit is in hold mode.
Red (Low Battery)—The red light flashes on and off to indicate a Low
Battery alarm.
