6.2 Positioning of Sensor und Installation
6.2.1 General Information
Always make sure you install the power in a non-obstructive manner.
Furthermore, the cable must not be stretched tight. Never pull the cable of
the sensor.
6.2.2 Use as a Desktop Device
The idevices Air Quality Sensor can be placed on a table or on flat, horizontal,
suitable surface. In any case, make sure that the sensor cannot fall down
accidentally.
6.2.3 Screw Mounting
You can mount the idevices Air Quality Sensor to a smooth surface using
the holes on the bottom side, to mount to a wall for example. For instance,
crosshead screws 3.0 mm × 30 mm with flat head and 5 mm standard dowel
S5 are suitable for this purpose. Before you start to drill holes, make sure you
are not interfere with any cables etc.
