4. General operation

• Important: Before using the bodypack transmitter for the
first time, you must charge the built-in battery. Please use
an appropriate Unite charger.
• Connect a headphone or induction loop to jack socket
• Connect a microphone to the 4-pin mini XLR connector or
use a headset with the connector
• Hold down the on/off button to switch on the transmitter.
• The integrated microphone
if no external microphone is connected.
• In order to establish an audio connection between a trans-
mitter and one or more receivers, all devices must be paired
together. See chapter 4.
• All devices are supplied with the group ID 256 and fixed
audio encryption. This allows for quick and easy initial use.
• The transmitter will only transmit the audio signal on a
channel with a predefined channel name. If there are several
transmitters in a group, the channel for the respective trans-
mitter can be selected on the receiver.
• If you require several device groups or a tap-proof audio
transmission, follow the steps in chapter 4 to create a new
pairing.
• If you require several device groups or a more tap-proof
audio transmission, to avoid listening by other groups using
Unite devices, follow the steps in chapter 4 to create a new
pairing.
