8.1
Filling-in denatured alcohol
WARNING!
!
Never pour fuel through the burner openings in top of the stove
(fig. 1, page 2).
Overfilling, spilt alcohol and hot objects can cause severe burns.
➤ Ensure all burners are turned off:
– operation with denatured alcohol: turn the control knob to the Off
position
– operation at 220–240 V mains (C100 and C200 only):
switch heating elements off
➤ Ensure the stove is cooled down to room temperature.
➤ Open the stovetop (fig. 7, page 5).
Taking out the canister
In operating mode, the flexible catch (fig. 8 1, page 5) is locked in the cutout
on the safety lever (fig. 8 2, page 5).
➤ To release the fuel tank, push the catch (fig. 9 1, page 5) in the direction
of the arrow and turn the lever (fig. 9 2, page 5) clockwise (fig. 0,
page 5).
➤ When the catch (fig. a 1, page 5) is vertical, push it in the direction of the
arrow.
✓ The canister is released.
➤ Take out the canister.
Filling with denatured alcohol
➤ Check canister opening ensuring there's neither fire nor glow.
➤ Make sure the canister is cool enough to be held in your bare hand before
filling.
➤ Hold the canister tilted down (fig. b, page 6).
➤ Fill the denatured alcohol through the wire mesh into the opening of the
canisters.
The maximum capacity per canister must not exceed 1.2 l.
