COMPONENT REPLACEMENT
GENERAL
The engine brake sy ste m functions the sam e
on In -lin e engines as on V-type engines; however,
on In -lin e engines two supply housings a re used
and each one is connected to a pair of drone hous­
ings (fig. 31). Two supply housings and two drone
housings a re u sed at each bank of cylin d ers on
8V -71 engines (fig. 32). The sam e arrangem ent of
