q) Selecting the Operating Mode for the Door Opener Button

In the default setting, (brief) pushing of the door opener button (if connected) will activate output
#1 at the code lock for 5 seconds. Additionally, a sound signal is emitted, as if a valid user code
or valid transponder had been used.
For some areas, however, it is sensible that a certain time must pass after actuation of a door
opener (can be set from 1 - 99 seconds), before output #1 and the connected door lock are actually
activated. This is to prevent, e.g., that a certain room can be left quickly.
Additionally, a warning sound that is emitted during the waiting time can be switched on, to prevent
unnoticed leaving of the room.
Important!
Setting a delay after actuation of the door opener button prevents fast leaving of a
room. However, this may be a safety risk in specific situations (e.g. fire).
Before setting a delay (in the default setting, the delay is deactivated), observe all
applicable safety provisions of your country or for use of this kind of function (e.g. the
presence and marking of a second escape route).
In doubt, you must not programme a delay!
The function may also be used for arming an alarm system.
Proceed as follows:
• The code lock must be in programming mode; see chapter 11. b).
• Enter the programming code
• Select the desired function for output #1 (e.g. with connected door opener):
The door opener button must be pushed briefly for triggering the door opener. There is
no sound signal during the delay.
