Danger of injury!

Helpless or heat­insensitive persons and in­
fants may not use the electric underblanket.
This appliance is not intended for use by
persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities,
or lack of experience and knowledge,
unless they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance
by a person responsible for their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure
that they do not play with the appliance.
Danger of overheating!

Do not use on an adjustable bed.
Do not tuck into the bed or wrap round the
mattress.
The underblanket must not be jammed
into position, and the surface must not be
rucked up.
The power cord must not be wound round
the heat regulator, kinked or twisted.

Preparing the
underblanket for use
Unpack the heated underblanket 1
and lay it on the bed with the lozenge
patterned side against the mattress. The
connection 2 must be at the foot end of
the bed.
Check that the connection 2 engages
firmly with the connection for the heat
regulator 3.

Position the heat regulator 3 conveniently
to one side, for example on a bedside
table, and pull the flexible woven sections
over the edges of the mattress (Fig. A).
Insert the plug on the heat regulator 3 into
the power supply socket.
The bedclothes can now pulled over the
mattress in the usual manner.
Note: The heated underblanket features dif­
ferent heat zones, specifically a head zone,
body zone and foot zone.
The underblanket should thus be placed on
the mattress as shown in Fig. A.

Operation

The heat regulator 3 must be connected to
the underblanket 1 (connection 2) and the
power supply network.
Setting the temperature
Temperature levels from 1 and 6 (approx.
30°C to 55°C) can be set with the rotary
control 3a.
1   ­ 2 = Low temperature for more
prolonged use, suitable for
overnight operation.
3 ­ 4 = Medium temperature, not suitable
for overnight use.
5 ­ 6 = High temperature, suitable for
prewarming the bed but not for
overnight use.
Note: The underblanket 1 requires some
time to reach the temperature set and to
cool down again.
Info: The lamp in the display window 3b is
lit as long as the underblanket is heating
and goes out when the timer setting (75
min. or 12 hrs.) has expired.
Time presetting functions
The switch 3c can be used to preset
operation of the underblanket to 75 min
or 12 h, upon which the indicator lamp 3d
lights up.
