3.2. OPERATION MODES OF THE CROSS FOLDER

The cross folder can operate in two modes:
NORMAL FOLD
In this mode the folder can execute 1 – 3 folds, while the linen is always
folded in the half of its length, see fig. 3.2.A.
In this mode there will be on the display e.g.:
P 1 168/170 C back
S:36cm NS:3/10 5.6mt
– „S:36cm" is entered length of fold
– „NS:3/10" is number of normal cross folds/quantity of linen in the stack
– „5,6mt" is ironing speed in m/min
FRENCH FOLD
In this mode the folder executes 3 folds, while 1. fold is executed in the half, 2. in the third and 3. again in
the half. The result is that edges of the linen are hidden inside, see fig. 3.2.B.
In this mode there will be on the display e.g.:
P 1 168/170 C back
S:36cm FS:3/10 5.6mt
– „FS:3/10" is number of French cross folds/quantity of linen in the stack

3.3. STACKER

The stacker counts automatically the quantity of linen in the stack and after the set quantity is reached, it
drives the stack of linen out. However, if height of the stack exceeds maximal possible limit, the linen is
driven out sooner than the set quantity of linen is reached.
Set quantity is displayed, e.g.:
P 1 168/170 C back
S:36cm NS:3/10 5.6mt
– „NS:3/10" is number of normal cross folds/quantity of linen in the stack (10 pieces)

3.4. PROGRAMMING

In the programming mode, you can set parameters of individual programmes, copy the programmes, and
choose a language for display messages. The programming mode can be activated by selection „2" from
the main menu, after switching the machine on:
1: Start Ironing
2: Machine Settings
This mode enter is protected by a password „ K " (fig. 3.4.A), the display will ask about the password:
Protected Menus.
Enter code:
If you wish t leave this selection, press „ P " key.
Now, you have to enter the password „2262" , and confirm by „ I " key. The display will shortly read:
P R I M U S Factory
Settings
Followed by a question for a language change:
Change the active
language (Y/N):

If you press „ I " key, the display will read:
