BENCH ATTACHMENT (Fig. 3)
1. Fasten grinder to work bench before operating this machine.
There is a bench attachment hole(6) on either side of the base
which should be used to secure the grinder.(Fig.3)
2. 2 x 10mm diameter bolts should be used to secure the grinder
to the bench or stand.
OPERATION
EYESHIELD ADJUSTMENT
AUTO ON LIGHT (Fig. 4)
Your RYOBI bench grinder comes complete with an auto on
adjustable light (9) which allows you to illuminate the grinding
wheels and workpiece when operating in dark areas. The light will
automatically come on when the grinder is switched on. When
grinder is not in use, switch off the tool to avoid overheating of the
lamp.
GLOBE REPLACEMENT
When the globe is worn out and will no longer work gently remove
the bulb from the holder by pushing in and turning anticlockwise.
Use only RYOBI genuine replacement part 12 volt, 21 watt globe.
To replace gently push the globe into the insert and turn clockwise.
IMPORTANT:
Do not use force as this could lead to the globe
breaking and serious injury.
COOLANT TRAY (Fig. 5)
The in-built coolant storage dip tray (5) allows you to cool
overheated workpieces. Simply pull out the tray and half fill with
appropriate coolant.
