6. MESSAGES ON LCD DISPLAY AND TROUBLESHOOTING ADVICE

NB – Once you have taken the action necessary to resolve the cause of any of the below messages
(does not apply to messages 1 and 3 below), the e-Ribbon Fire™ has to be RESET by switching the OFF
button first into OFF and then into ON position before you can commence with the start-up process.

ExPLANATION/CAUSE
The minimum fuel level in the tank is
reached/the tank is empty.

SOLUTION
Do not switch off the electronics and fill the fuel tank as de-
scribed above.
Call your point of sale or Decoflame on +45 96 30 48 00 (only
English-speaking staff available) and have the serial number to
hand (can be found on the reverse side of the lid of the fuel inlet).
Push down onto the lid in order to close it until you hear a click
sound.
Dry off any spilled bioethanol thoroughly with paper towels.
Leave the pop-up lid open for at least one hour in order to allow
any remaining humidity to evaporate completely. Then close the
pop-up lid of the fuel inlet.

Correct the positioning of the fire in such a way that it is per-
fectly in level within its intended setting. Use a spirit level. Fix
the fire securely.
Make sure that the ventilation slots around the flame tray are
not obstructed (do not place ceramic logs or pebbles there).
Also, check that the fireplace has been installed with the nec-
essary 5mm gap all the way around and below the base plate.
Check the fuel level by opening the lid to the right and start
refilling the tank. Once full, reset the electronics of the appliance.
Should the display still show this message, call your point of sale
or Decoflame on +45 96 30 48 00 (only English-speaking staff
available) and have the serial number to hand (can be found on
the reverse side of the lid of the fuel inlet).
Make sure that the ventilation slots around the flame tray are

Also, check that the fireplace has been installed with the nec-

tray has cooled down completely. Then, RESET the electronics.
