Keytone
(Menu 4.2.3)
Use this menu to set up the key tone that the phone
sounds when you press a key.
Type: select a tone that the phone sounds when
you press a key.
Volume: adjust the keytone volume.
Alerts
(Menu 4.2.4)
Use this menu to set up audible alerts to inform you
that certain things have happened.
Minute Beep: set the phone to beep every minute
during an outgoing call to keep you informed of the
length of your call.
Service Alert: set the phone to beep when you
exit a service area or return to a service area.
Call Connect: set the phone to beep when your
call is connected to the system.
Call Disconnect: set the phone to beep when
your call is disconnected from the system.
Signal Fade: set the phone to beep when a
dropped call occurs during conversation in
response to fading signal strength.
Roaming Alerts: set the phone to beep when
your phone starts roaming.
Roam Ringer
(Menu 4.2.5)
Use this menu to set the phone to sound a distinctive
ring when your phone starts roaming.
Tone Length
(Menu 4.2.6)
Use this menu to set short or long DTMF (dual-tone
multi-frequency) tones to be sent to access
teleservices, such as a bank account. If the service is
digital, as most are, short DTMF tones will almost
always work.
Power On/Off
(Menu 4.2.7)
Use this menu to turn on or off the tone that the
phone sounds when it is switched on or off.
