The light will now bounce off the inner curved deflector plate and flood the
walls of the outer bowl of the Parabolic Softbox, resulting in a broad spread
of softer indirect light.
You can flip the deflector plate convex side out, creating an alternate light
distribution.
Attach the inner diffuser. The inner layer can be used with or without

the deflector cap. The more diffusion, the less dramatic the Parabolic
Softbox wrap. The fabric snaps onto the interior elastic tabs that are on
each rod spoke.
Attach the outer diffuser. Join the outer diffusion fabric to the Velcro

strips that line the inner perimeter of the softbox. Again, the deflector
cap, as well as the inner diffuser, can be used together to maximize the
softness of the flash.
A. Unfold the diffusion material and align the diffuser's corners
with the outside junctions of the opened Parabolic Softbox.
B. Press the strips firmly to seal off light leaks.
