11.2 Tools

11.2.1 Alarm

This cell phone is available with five alarms, which are all the same in function and use. They may be set to
on or off separately.
Under alarm function box, the working state for five alarm groups shall be displayed.
The alarm on or off is indicated by different icon: for instance, when alarm is on, the icon 'on' and the set
alarm time following characters will be shown; when alarm is off, the icon 'off' is shown while the set alarm
time will not.

Alarm on

Upon the selection of an alarm by user, press the key select to enter this alarm state box to check its setting
in details.
Refer to the figure shown above：the time setting for alarm1 is 00:00, whereby 00:00 indicates the alarm
time; and the period is set to only once, meaning the alarm is on.
To make alarm on, the confirmation on the correctness of alarm time is needed. For example, if the required
alarm time is 0:00, you may select the option time setting in the alarm display box to enter the time setting
box, and then enter the required time value by digit keys.
The foresaid alarm works only for one time except that the alarm period is set and confirmed on its
correctness. For other settings, select from four different modes the period needed after enter the option
period settings:
Only once： the alarm works only for one time subject to the setting and then will be off.
Daily：the alarm works at the same set time everyday subject to the setting.
From Monday through Friday：the alarm works at the same set time from Monday through Friday
subject to the setting.
Saturday &Sunday：the alarm works at the same set time only on Saturday &Sunday subject to the
setting.
Then select alarm tune to set up the alarm tune.
The next, select rename to give another name preferred to the alarm.
The last, select the option state menu to set the alarm on or off.

11.2.2 Alarming

When it is up to the set alarming time, the cell phone will play the alarm prompt sound (if the
setting allows ) and show on the screen the alarm prompt picture.
In the event that cell phone is power off, the alarm will still work and may be stopped by any key.
It is noted that the alarming will still work per previous time setting even the date and time of cell phone are
readjusted. Therefore, the next alarming date and time shall be re-determined subject to the changed date and
time in the cell phone.
