Save the received data
When receiving data from another device by infrared, detailed information of the data to be
received and the available memory on your phone and the memory card (if available) are
displayed on the screen for your to decide, and ask you whether to receive the data or not. You
can press the left soft key or the OK key to confirm, or press the right soft key to cancel. The
received data will be automatically saved into the corresponding folder in My files (MP3,
Sounds, Videos, Pictures, or Java applications), unrecognised data will be saved in the folder
for Others.
Infrared sync
This menu allows you to carry out data sync by infrared.
User the phone as a modem
You can also user your mobile phone as a modem for a PC or PDA to surf the Internet. To fully
benefit from the services available via infrared, you must install the PC tools available on the
CD-ROM supplied with your phone.
USB sync
When the phone is connected to a PC (with the PC tools launched) with a USB cable, you can
select this option menu to link the phone with PC to carry out the data download/upload and
synchronization operations.
