Your Internet connection
Your AirLife can connect to the Internet using a 3G network (cell phone network
provider) or a wireless network (Wi-Fi). When you are in range of a cellular 3G
network, you AirLife is automatically connected. When you want to use Wi-Fi, you turn
on Wi-Fi and then select a network to connect to, such as your home Wi-Fi network.
Some Wi-Fi networks may require configuration on the initial connection, and then next
time you turn on Wi-Fi, you are automatically connected.
Next, let's learn about some differences between Wi-Fi and 3G Internet connections.
Wi-Fi provides a high-speed Internet connection and allows you to quickly download
web pages and other web content. You can connect your AirLife to your home Wi-Fi
network or to Wi-Fi hot spots located in public locations or businesses such as a
coffee shop.
Your 3G cellular connection provides you with a seamless automatic connection and
the coverage is broad. You can connect to the Internet in locations that do not offer
Wi-Fi hot spots.
