You can quickly change your phone's alert
profile to match your activity, environment, or
personal requirements. Each profile uses a
different set of sounds or vibrations for
incoming calls and other events. The profile
indicator shows at the top of the home
screen:

To change your profile, press the volume
keys in the home screen.

Airplane Mode turns off your phone's calling
features in locations where wireless phone
use is prohibited. You can use the phone's
music player and other non-calling features in
airplane mode.
Shortcut: In the home screen, hold # to
quickly switch to the Vibrate profile and back.
change alerts in a profile
You can change the alerts that a profiles uses
to notify you of incoming calls and other
events.
Note: You can't set an alert for the Silent
profile, or change some settings for some
profiles.
