1. Adjustment And Checking Procedure
Focus adjustments
• Perform "Focus adjustment [A] – Adjustment at infinity".
• Perform "Focus adjustment [B] – Adjustment at MACRO".
• Perform "Focus adjustment [C] – Adjustment at SUPER MACRO".
NOTE: Adjustments must be performed in the sequence: [A] → [B] → [C]
2. Adjustment Procedures
(1) Launch the TEST MODE. (See "Camera Settings" on page 1.)
(2) Select and run "3: LENS" → "1: FOCUS".
(3) When "FOCUS ADJ START" appears, press the [SET].
(4) Set the camera to the collimator and press the [shutter] button.
(5) When "OK" appears, focus adjustment [A] is completed.
(6) Turn the camera off and then on again.
(7) Next, select and run "2:MACRO".
(8) When "MACRO ADJ START" appears, press the [SET].
(9) Secure the camera and confirm that the special chart can be seen in the center of the focus
area. Then press the [shutter] button.
* Use the new MACRO designated chart for new models. Refer to Page 1.
(10) When "OK" appears, focus adjustment [B] is completed.
(11) Turn the camera off and then on again.
(12) Select and run "6: S_MACRO".
(13) When "S_MACRO ADJ START" appears, press the [SET].
(14) Set the camera to the the luminance box.
(15) Affix the designated (transparent-type) chart to the luminance box.
* See "5. How To Affix The Transparent Chart (Example)".
(16) Confirm that the designated (transparent-type) chart is displayed in the center of the focus area.
Then press the [shutter] button.
(17) When "OK" appears, focus adjustment [C] is completed.
