    Chapter 1: Introduction About this document The iTero Element 5D system is delivered as a proprietary, PC- based workstation for performing intra-oral scans in the doctor’s office. This document describes how to start and shut down the system, how to correctly handle the Scanning Unit/Wand and cable, and how to clean the Scanning Unit and replace its sleeves between patients.
