5.15. Question: I cannot connect using the GSM modem, why not?
Answer: Be sure that you are selecting the G3100 model in your
data collection software. Selecting the wrong model version will
cause communication issues with the GSM modem.
The G3100 GSM modem requires that Flow Control be enabled
on the system. If this was previously turned off it will need to be
re-set. You can accomplish this by re-uploading the default
script to the receiver or by sending the command SCS,COM2, , , ,
RTS|CTS using data collection software or RxControl.
