Press to scroll through the phone's menu options. On the text input screen, press
to move the cursor.
Enter key (
Press to insert a line feed in text input mode, or access the phone's menus and
select the highlighted choice when navigating through a menu.
Backspace key (
Press to delete characters from the display in text input mode.
Physical Keyboard Settings
You can customize the slide-out QWERTY keyboard settings.

Press Home
2.
Set the following options:
Auto-replace: Check to automatically correct mistyped words.
Auto-capitalization: Check to automatically capitalize the first letter of sentences.
Auto-punctuate: Check to automatically insert ―.‖ when the space key is pressed
twice.
Vibrate on keypress: Check to activate vibration when a key is pressed.

Touchscreen Keyboard

The touchscreen keyboards let you enter text directly onscreen without opening the phone.
Your phone provides convenient ways to enter letters, numbers, and symbols whenever you are
prompted to enter text. To manually display the touchscreen keyboard, simply touch a text field
where you want to enter text. There are two ways of entering text on your phone: Swype and
Android keyboard.
Note: Swype is selected as a default keyboard.
To switch the touchscreen keyboard:

Press Home
2.
Touch System settings > Language & input > Default.
3.
Touch Swype or Android keyboard.
