FOR BEST RESULTS

• Install your fixture 8-12 feet above the ground.
• Locate fixture so motion moves across
detection zone (Fig. 1).
• Locate fixture away from heat producing sources to
prevent false triggering. Also be very careful not to
include objects such as windows, white walls and
water in the detection zone whenever possible.
• Locate fixture away from moving objects such as
trees and street traffic.
• Do not install more than one motion activated
floodlight on one wall switch.

INSTALLING THE BULB

NOTE: Disconnect power and allow fixture (A) to cool
before removing burned-out bulb. Bulb and fixture (A)
get extremely hot during use.
1. Remove screw from bottom of lens frame.
2. Using gloves or a soft cloth, gently insert bulb (E) by
pressing one end into the spring-loaded socket on
the end indicated by reflector marking and repeat
with the opposite end. Bulb (E) should fit securely
into the contacts (Fig. 2).
NOTE: Never touch bulb with bare hands as oil from
your skin can cause premature failure.
3. Secure lens frame onto the fixture with screw.
CAUTION: When replacing bulb in fixture, always
replace with the same wattage bulb or a lower
wattage bulb. DO NOT replace with a bulb of greater
wattage than specified on the fixture. To do so could
create a fire hazard and/or shorten the life of the bulb.
MOUNTING YOUR FIXTURE
NOTE: Your fixture mounts to recessed standard junction
boxes as shown in Fig. 3.
NOTE: Fixture may be vertically installed in either the
wall mount or eave mount position as shown (Fig. 4).
1. Turn power OFF at main fuse/breaker box.
2. Match up screws on the floodlight mounting bracket
(H) with the junction box screw holes. Make sure
that screws protruding from mounting bracket (H)
are in a horizontal position.
3. Connect black wire to house black wire and connect
white wire to house white wire using wire nuts (G)
provided.
4. Attach yellow/green wire from the fixture to ground
wire coming from your house using wire nut (G)
provided. If no ground wire is available, attach
fixture ground wire to the junction box.
5. Attach fixture (A) to the mounting bracket (H) with the
decorative nuts (I) provided.
6. Apply silicone caulking around the edges of coverplate
and in any open screw holes for a watertight seal.
7. Adjust the antenna upright and vertical to the ground
(Fig. 5).

OPERATING YOUR FIXTURE
1. Make sure motion sensor and wireless receiver (B)
are set to the same house code (fixtures will come
from factory pre-set to the same code). You may
reset the house code by moving the slide switch on
the bottom of the fixture into one of the four positions
(Fig. 6). The wireless receiver (B) should be on the
same channel. To change the channel on the wireless
receiver (B), press the SEL button on the front of the
receiver and the LED light will indicate the channel
in operation (Fig. 7).

2. Move LUX control knob on bottom of sensor to "T"
(test) position and the time adjustment slide switch
to the 5˝ (seconds) position (Fig. 8).
3. Turn on the power to fixture (A). Turn on the wall
switch. Allow fixture (A) to warm up approximately
90 seconds before testing. (Lights may not come on
during warm-up period).
4. Aim sensor head in desired position. Walk across
the detection zone at the farthest distance you wish
your detector to detect motion. Make sure sensor
head is positioned with control switches facing
towards the ground.
5. Light will turn off 5 seconds after motion stops in
the "T" position. Wait 4 seconds after the floodlight
turns off before moving again to test the sensor.
Adjust motion sensor up, down, left or right until
you cover your detection area.
NOTE: For maximum range performance, allow fixture
(A) to operate in any mode (with power to the unit) for at
least 48 hours.
6. The 4 position slide switch provides you with four
time intervals. Move slide switch from 5˝ to either
10, 5, or 1 minute mode and light will remain on for
the pre-selected time after the last motion is detected
at night. Turn LUX control knob to position.
NOTE: The LUX adjustment knob determines when the
floodlight will begin operating. Turn the motion sensor
LUX control knob clockwise to the moon (dusk) position.
In this setting the floodlight will remain in the OFF
position during daylight hours. If you would like the
floodlight to turn on early (before dusk) as daylight
declines, move the knob closer to the position.
NOTE: Time adjustment settings:
• 5˝ = 5 seconds
• 1 = 1 minute
• 5 = 5 minutes
• 10 = 10 minutes
7. This fixture has a manual override feature which
will keep the floodlight on regardless of motion
detection. To activate this function, turn the wall
switch off and on twice within 4 seconds. This
manual override mode will revert to automatic
detection after 4-6 hours. You can reset the fixture
to automatic detection mode by turning the fixture
off for at least 10 seconds and then turning it back on.
