USB Headphones / Audio Devices & VR Headsets
By default, USB headphones disable the physical (analog) outputs on a computer. Using the
freeware program Voicemeeter, http://vb-audio.pagesperso-orange.fr/Voicemeeter/, both
USB headphones and the ButtKicker Gamer2 can be run at the same time. This solution is
also applicable to HDMI/Optical connections from a PC to sound systems, TVs, or other
devices.
Step 1.
Connect the ButtKicker Gamer2 BKA-130-CJ amplifier to the headphone (green jack) output of the PC.
Step 2.
Download and install Voicemeeter from http://vb-audio.pagesperso-orange.fr/Voicemeeter/. Follow the
Voicemeeter installation instructions, you may be required to restart your computer.
Step 3.
Open Windows Sound Settings and set Voicemeeter Input as the Output Device.
Step 4.
Open Voicemeeter, in the top right-hand side of the program menu under "Hardware Output" there are drop
down menus for Output Devices labeled A1 and A2. In A1 choose your computers Speakers Output.
