function key is input.
OFF
The buzzer does not sound when a system key, touch switch, or
function key is input.

If no key input (see note 1) or
command (see note 2) is received
for 10 minutes while a screen is
being displayed, the backlight
turns off.
1 hr
If no key input (see note 1) or
command (see note 2) is received
for one hour while a screen is
being displayed, the backlight
turns off.

The backlight stays on constantly.
Normal
The screen display is normal.
Reverse video
The screen is displayed with dark and light reversed.
10 min
If no key input (see note 1) or command (see note 2) is received for 10
minutes while a screen is being displayed, the screen turns off.
1 hr
If no key input (see note 1) or command (see note 2) is received for
one hour while a screen is being displayed, the screen turns off.

The screen stays on constantly. The residual image
eliminationfunction does not operate, so turn off the screen periodically
by means of the host program.
ON
The contents of memory tables written by the host during operation are
retained even if the NT20M power turns off or a reset is executed.
OFF
If power to the NT20M is turned off or a reset is executed, the contents
of the memory table are overwritten by the contents of data created by
the Support Tool.

When either "backlight off" or residual image elimination" is set to either "10 min-
utes" or "one hour," the internal timer starts counting as soon as the key input or
command is received. When the time is up, the backlight or EL screen turns off.
