General information
To aid prevention of skin breakdown in a sitting position
regular repositioning is recommended. Essential care,
education, clinical judgment, and action based planning are
fundamental factors in the prevention of skin breakdown. A
range of assessment scales can be used as a formal method
of assessing risk.
This user manual contains important information about the
handling of the product. In order to ensure safety when

in compliance with the Medical Device Directive 93/42/EEC

The foam and cover used to manufacture the Invacare®
Classic Visco cushion are fire safety tested and certified in
accordance with EN1021 part 1 and 2.
Invacare is continuously working towards ensuring that the

This cushion is intended to be used as part of an overall
