Notes A-Z
CSD connection
(Circuit Switched Data)
Data is transferred via a data
connection to a dial-in point pre-set
by your network operator or service
provider. This connection can be
used for exchanging data, such as,
for example, Internet access, or for
downloading games and
applications as well as for using WAP
services.
As long as you are using this
connection for downloading
applications from the Internet or
using services, you must pay
connection fees according to your
network operator's or service
provider's table of charges.
GPRS connection
(General Packet Radio Service)
GPRS is a new method for
transmitting data faster in the
mobile network. Use GPRS and if the
network has sufficient capacity, you
can be connected to the Internet
permanently.
Some service providers do not yet
support this service.
