To achieve significantly easier transport of your
wheelchair, the wheels are equipped with quick-
release axles as standard:
• Press on the locking button of the quick-release
axle with a finger and remove the wheel (Fig.
36).
• When reattaching the wheel, simply push the
wheel back into the mount. At the same time,
press the locking button.
Ensure when pushing back in that the quick-release
axle is pushed! Check after pushing back in that the
wheel is firmly attached by pulling it towards you
without operating the locking button of the quick-
release axle.
The tip assist can be used to help an accompanying
person overcome obstacles such as kerbs. Hold the
wheelchair firmly by the push handles with both
hands. Then with one foot you press on one of
the tip assist (Fig. 38), at the same time pushing
downwards with both hands.
