Connecting the Power Source

DANGER: SERVICING OF DOUBLE-INSULATED APPLIANCES
In a double-insulated appliance, two systems of insulation are provided instead of grounding. No
grounding means is provided on a double-insulated appliance, nor should a means for grounding
be added to the appliance. Servicing of a double-insulated appliance requires extreme care and
knowledge of the system and should be done only by a qualified service personnel. Replacement
parts for a double insulated appliance must be identical to those parts in the appliance.
A double-insulated appliance is marked with the words "DOUBLE INSULATION" or "DOUBLE
INSULATED". The symbol (square within a square) may also be marked on the appliance.
Once installed as above and mounted correctly, connect the plug connector for the
cable into the power socket.
You must NOT connect the unit into a lighting circuit.
You must connect the power cable to a standard power socket.
1. Isolate the electrical supply to the power socket.
2. Check that the mains voltage displayed on the unit label is
correct for your supply.
3. Check that the cable and plug connector are not damaged.
