The Belkin Wireless G Desktop Card connects your desktop computer
to your wireless network. With a Belkin Wireless G Router as the central
connection point of your network, your computers can share your high-
speed Internet connection as well as files, printers, and hard drives. The
card features Wi-Fi
among your computers nearly five times faster than the 802.11b
standard—at up to an incredible 54Mbps. Belkin's Wireless Networking
Utility supports advanced security settings and enables you to easily
manage your connection profiles.
Here's what you need:
(1) The Central Connection Point
The Belkin Wireless G Router (F5D7230au4) is the central connection point of your
wireless network. Position your Belkin Router between your cable or DSL modem
and your computer to start sharing your broadband Internet access.
(2) For Desktop Computers
A Belkin Wireless G Desktop Card (F5D7000au) or USB Adapter (F5D7050au)
connects a desktop computer to your wireless network.
(3) For Notebook Computers
A Belkin Wireless G Notebook Card (F5D7010au) or USB Adapter (F5D7050au)
connects a notebook computer to your wireless network.
NOTE: The computer that is directly connected to the modem remains wired to
the router and does not require a wireless card.
