Choose whether you'd like to use the collet nut or the adjustable chuck for
attaching the mandrel to your rotary tool, and set it up accordingly. The
instructions for attaching an accessory with the collet nut kit can be found on page
28, and the instructions on attaching an accessory using the adjustable chuck - on
page 30.
How to install the flexible driver
1. Remove the housing cap from your
rotary tool.
3. Find a collet that fits the inner
flexible shaft, and insert into the collet
nut. You can see what the collets & collet
nut look like on page 14.
2. Inside the fitting collar, you'll see the
inner flexible shaft - pull it out enough
to be able to hold
4. Press down the shaft lock button
(page 12) and screw the fitting collar
with the collet nut onto the rotary tool,
where the housing cap usually is.
