Thank you for purchasing the Pure Water Systems Counter Top Water
Filter. This is a totally portable system and does not require a plumber for
installation. The Counter Top connects directly to your existing cold water
tap and can be installed in just 3 easy steps.
This product is very easy to install and fits almost every tap. However, if
you require any assistance, please contact our Customer Service

Step 1: Fitting Filter Cartridge.

Step 2: Fitting the Diverter to Your Tap.
1. The clear Washer should have been previously inserted into the top of the Diverter
Valve prior to being delivered. Ensure that the clear Washer is seated correctly.
2. The Diverter needs to be fitted to the bottom of your kitchen tap. Most taps have
an Aerator. Remove the Aerator to find out if you have an internal, external or no
thread on your tap.
What Sort of Thread Do You Have on the End of Your Tap?
To best assist you with the installation of your Counter Top Water Filter, please choose one of the below
answers to identify which thread you have on your tap.
A.
The thread is on the outside of the tap
B.
The thread is on the inside of the tap
C.
There is NO thread - small tap diameter
D.
There is NO thread - large tap diameter
Counter Top Filtration System
1. Turn the Filter Housing upside down,
unscrew and separate the Base of the
Housing from the top half.
2. Remove the wrapper and label from
Filter Cartridge.
3. Place the Filter Cartridge inside of the Housing (either end up), ensuring
that the seals on both ends of the Cartridge are seated correctly.
4. Ensure that the black O'ring is properly seated in the groove of the Filter
Housing (as per diagram on the left). Screw the Base back onto the
Housing. A small amount of silicon lubricant can be used to lubricate to
O'ring, this will prevent leaking.
5. Proceed to step 2.

- Page 3 Step 3: Complete the Installation. 1. Turn the Counter Top system upside down. 2. Twist the Spout half a turn anticlockwise (as per photo on left). 3. Turn on the cold water tap. 4. Turn the black Diverter Lever ¼ of a turn up to the horizontal position, this will divert the water to the water purifier from your kitchen tap.
