Fuel Requirements

Use only the recommended fuel which meets
national standard!
used, severe damage would be caused to
the engine and the catalytic converter, and
the reduction of engine power and torque
and the increase of fuel consumption would
occur.
Please use the fuel which is recommended and certified
by the manufacturer. See 'Major Parameters of Engine 'in
'Technical Data'.
If fuel of lower grade is used, the engine knock noise may
occurred, please use the recommended or higher grade
fuel as soon as possible. If the engine knock noise heard
still seriously after using the recommended or above grade
fuel, please contact MG Authorised Repairer immediately.

Take care when refueling:
• Switch off the engine.
• Do not smoke or use a naked flame.
• Do not use a mobile phone.
• Avoid spilling fuel.
• Do not overfill the tank.
