    1. Installation Step 1 : Deciding on an Installation Site Placement and Installation The weight of the machine alone is 61 kg (135 lb.). Unload and place the machine with care. WARNING Unloading and placement are operations that must be performed by 2 persons or more. Tasks that require undue effort when performed by a small number of people may result in physical injury.

    1. Installation Step 2 : Removing the Retainers Retainers are attached to protect the machine from vibration during shipment. When installation is complete, remove and save these retainers. • Be sure to remove the retainers. Any that remain may cause faulty operation or a breakdown when the power is switched on.

    1. Installation Remove the retainer (small). Close the front cover. Step 3 : Attaching the Regulator The regulator for this machine is the auto-drain type. Attaching the regulator incorrectly can cause leakage. Be sure to attach the regulator according to the procedure. WARNING Before supplying compressed air, make sure that the bowl is securely attached.

    2. Connecting to the Computer Procedure Overview You can connect the computer and this machine through its USB interface or LAN interface. The procedure varies depending on the connection method. We recommend that you use the overview shown below to understand the overall procedure before starting the connection operations.

    • This software is a 32-bit application and therefore runs in WOW64 (Windows-On-Windows 64) when running on 64-bit versions of Windows operating systems. • This software has not been tested when running in the Windows XP mode in Windows 7. For the latest information, see the DGSHAPE Corporation website (http://www.dgshape.com/). Installable Software VPanel for DWX This is the machine control software designed for the DWX series made by DGSHAPE Corporation.

If any fluid or dirt is present in these locations, correction might not occur properly.   • Page 72 3. Performing the Initial Work Attach the rotary axis correction jig to hole “2” on the rotary axis. Align the recessed portion of the jig with the protrusion on the rotary axis, and then insert the jig. Ensure that there is no gap between the surfaces. It does not matter which of the two recesses on the jig is aligned to the protrusion. Align the recessed portion of the jig with the protrusion on the rotary axis.
