Feed wires through the back of the thermostat base and securely
mount to the wall with supplied screws and anchors.
- Switch Electric/Gas Switch to ELEC for Heat Pump or electric
heat application, leave in Gas for gas and oil applications.
- Clip jumper W903 (programmable models only) to disable
Energy Management Recovery feature that starts heat or cool
earlier than the program time.
- Clip jumper W904 for Celsius Display.
- Clip jumper W905 to produce a longer heating cycle which is
normally for hot water or steam (Hydronic Systems).

Questions and answers
When Heating is program to 74, but it is not reaching to 74. Why is that ?
The thermostat may not be reaching the set heating temperature of 74 degrees due to the following possible reasons:
1. Cycle Rate Issue: The thermostat's cycle rate could be too fast, causing the heating system to turn on and off more frequently without maintaining the desired temperature. This can be adjusted by clipping Jumper W-905 if applicable for hydronic heating systems.
2. Thermometer Adjustment: The thermostat thermometer may require adjustment if its display does not align with the actual room temperature. It can be adjusted by ±3 degrees as described in the operation section.
3. Battery Issue: If the batteries are low or dead, the thermostat may not function correctly. Replace the batteries if "Change" is displayed.
4. Voltage Spike or Static Discharge: A voltage spike or static discharge could interfere with the thermostat's operation. Reset the thermostat and check the heating system for proper operation.
If none of these solutions resolve the issue, contact a local service person for further assistance.
