2) The wick cannot be lighted easily if the filament of the glow plug is out of position relative to
the
wick.
When you find it difficult to light
t
he
wick,
check the filament for
deformation,
disconnection,
or any gap relative to the wick.

3) If the filament is
deformed,
set it right using a tooth-pick or some other proper tool.

4) Replace the unmendable or broken filament with a new one (see page
12).

6. Batteries

Each time before use
The continued use of batteries will make the glow plug too weak to light the
wick.
Replace such
batteries with new
ones.
7. Ignition System

Each time before use
If the ignition system does not work properly even after the batteries and glow plug have been
replaced,
please contact an authorized service center or
dealer.
HOW TO REPLACE PARTS
1. Wick
NOTE: Use only a
genuine
CORONA replacement wick, part
No.
200-01
(CORONA).
1) Remove batteries. Press
the shut-off button to lower the
wick.
Open the grille guard and t ake out the burner
chimney.
Pull
out the ignition lever knob and the wick control lever knob,
loosen and take two screws off the lower part of the front
plate, and remove the front plate by pulling its lower part
toward
you.
2) Take out
the
cartridge tank, remove two screws at the back
of
the
heater
cabinet,
and lift the cabinet off the base
plate.
3)
Remove the
wick guide ring by taking the screw out.
Note:
Use
care not to disturb the three catches of the wick
guide ring.
