Operation

Charging the Battery

• Set up the charger in a dry, indoor location
that allows airflow and is free of dirt and
debris
• Set the charger on a hard surface to
assure airflow is not blocked Do not set on
carpeting, soft foam or cloth
• Connect the AC power cord of the charger to
the AC inlet on the charger
• Plug the AC power cord of the charger into
a grounded wall outlet Note: The unit's
Charger Indicator will show a power-on
blink sequence and then turn off
• Connect the DC plug to the battery and
ensure the plug is seated in the battery
socket and terminals
• Allow battery to charge Note: Refer to the
Charger Indicator table on the following
page for more information
• Disconnect battery from charger upon
reaching the desired charge
Charger Model 120V - C1600
Operation
The charger does not have a power switch
and will enter a low-power standby mode
when not in use
When charging the battery, the temperature
where the battery is located must be below
86°F (30°C) and above 40°F (5°C)
If during charging, the battery is
disconnected and you wish to reconnect
it to continue charging, or to charge
a different battery, wait until the LED
indictor on the charger turns off before
reconnecting the battery. If the battery is
reconnected before the indicator turns off,
charging will not restart.
If, when the charger is disconnected from
the battery, the charger indicator blinks
red, wait for the LED indicator to turn off.
