This manual contains important safety and
operating instructions for battery charger

charger, you must read and understand all
the instructions and safety markings in this
instruction manual, as well as cautionary
markings on battery charger, battery packs
and the product using the battery packs.
WARNING:
To reduce risk of injury,
never use a charger with a damaged case.
Injury from electric shock hazard may
occur if there is user contact with internal
componentry.
• This appliance is not intended for use by
persons, including children, with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities
or lack of experience and knowledge,
unless they have been given supervision
or instruction concerning use of the
appliance by a person responsible for
their safety.
• Children should be supervised to ensure
that they do not play with the appliance.
• Never insert any object into the charger's
cooling slots. Never connect the charger
terminals to metal objects as this can
short circuit and damage the battery
charger. Do not attempt to disassemble
the battery charger. No user serviceable
parts inside. Contact an authorized Oregon®
120V Professional dealer for battery service
or repair

Charging

chemical hazards, electric shock and fire,
use this battery charger only with Oregon
120V Professional rechargeable Lithium Ion
batteries. Failure to follow proper charging
procedures may result in excessive voltage or
current flow, loss of control during charging,
hazardous chemical leakage, overheating,
bursting or fire
• Do not recharge non-rechargeable
batteries.
• Never charge a frozen battery.
• In case of damage and improper use of
the battery, vapors can be emitted. Vapors
are highly flammable Ventilate the area and
seek medical help in case of exposure to
battery liquids or vapors
• Never smoke or allow an open spark or
flame in the vicinity of the battery.
• Do not operate the charger in a closed-in
area or restrict ventilation in any way.
• This charger is intended for dry location
use only. Never use the charger in the rain or
in extremely wet conditions
• Follow all charging instructions and
do not charge the battery pack beyond
the temperature range specified in the
instructions. Charging improperly or at
temperatures outside of the specified range
may damage the battery and increase the risk
of fire
• Make sure all plugs are correctly mated
to their receptacles.
• To prevent overheating, make sure the air
vents remain unobstructed. Do not place
or rest the battery charger on or use in close
proximity to flammable materials, such as
paper, textiles, and so on
Note: High voltage only exists on the charger
DC terminals after connection is made to an
Oregon® 120V Professional battery
The third wire earth ground on the AC cord
is only needed for functional purposes of the
charger
