Maintenance information

5.1

Training suit

Clean and maintain the suit and its accessories following the cleaning instruction on the
labels in the suit. Store the suit by hanging it in a clean and dry environment. Wash the suit
by placing it in a washing net and then use a mild agitation wash machine setting.
To protect the Velcro during washing, fasten all the belts and use the four locks for the pants.
The lifetime of the suit depends on the intensity duration of the use of the suit and the care
and maintenance it receives during its lifecycle. Deterioration of the suit over time is normal
and cannot be prevented. Damage due to unprofessional use can be prevented. The user is
responsible to use the suit professionally to avoid damage.
5.2

Electrodes

The electrodes are designed to be easily removable for cleaning and disinfecting. It is advised
to clean and disinfectant them after use.
Electrodes must not be cleaned with granular substances. These decrease the lifetime of the
electrodes.
Cleaning should be done using either a non-granular disinfecting solution or a 30/70%
alcohol and di-water mixture using a piece of clean cotton cloth.
5.3

Expected service life

The expected service life for the electrodes is 20 years, for the cables and the training suit it is 2 years.
You can find further information about warranty below (see. 7). The shelf life of the suit and the
accessories is longer than the expected service life.
