Symptom: Timeshift function does not seem to be working correctly.
Solution: Many Memory Devices do not meet the requirements necessary to
properly operate in TimeShift mode.
Some common symptoms associated with the use of a Memory Device that is not
compatible are-
• Time line appears at the bottom of the screen but no recording takes place
Time line appears to indicate it is recording but play, FF / REW do not work
•
Some playback is possible but the image freezes and no remote or manual
•
functions can be activated. The unit must be unplugged in order to resume
normal operation.
The chronometer display does not count or counts backwards.

Guidelines for proper operation:
• Only works using TV Tuner as signal source.
TimeShift device can be –
•
USB Flash Drive
Compact Flash Card/ using adaptor
SD Card/ using adaptor
USB Flash Drive must be USB 2 type as well as FAT32 .

Memory size dictates recording length capability. Recommended to use 4GB or
•
larger.
• Can only record the program being watched, no timer recordings or 2nd channel
recording capability, when the channel is changed the recording will stop.
When stop is pressed recording is also no longer accessible.
