Prior to performing any operation related to maintenance or cleaning of the stove, make sure you
have taken the following safety measures:
Verify that all parts of the stove are cooled down.
Verify that the ash is completely cold.
Verify that the plug has been removed from the wall-socket, in order to prevent any accidental
touching of live parts.
Carefully follow the proper instructions for cleaning. Failure to comply with these instructions may
result in troubles operating the stove. When cleaning, wear protective gloves.
To clean ash from the firebox floor and walls, and the
surfaces of the firebox, using mid-size normal brush will
be appropriate.
The most efficient and final cleaning you can attain using
a specialised vacuum cleaner for cleaning stoves, with a
container.
Lack of cleanliness may hinder starting-up and the normal and efficient operation of the
stove.
Daily cleaning.
The same procedure must also be
performed before each ignition.
Cleaning the grate. Open the firebox door.
Lift the grate and dump the ash into the
ash box.
Then very carefully return the grate
precisely to its former place, until it no
longer moves.

PERIODIC CLEANING

The glass is to be cleaned very carefully. It resists thermal shocks, but it is quite sensitive to
mechanical actions – impacts, compression, etc. Wipe it out using wet cloth or wash it using
detergents and water.
Cleaning heated surfaces after the firebox. These are not accessible, so their cleaning is done
using an integrated mechanism.
